As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Method Vancouver, you’re the backbone of our Talent Acquisition (TA) team. You’re a rockstar when it comes to multi-tasking and keeping a million little details in check in a fast-paced environment. You’re someone who wants to take on more responsibility and potentially have long-term career plans in our industry. This is a 6-Month contract role to start with the potential to extend.

In this role, you will:

Work with the Talent Acquisition Manager, Hiring Managers, Artist Mangers and Executives to schedule video interviews as required;

Communicate interview details to candidate and provide information and answers as required;

Act as first and primary point of contact on day-of-interview for both the candidate and Hiring Managers;

Prepare and distribute agendas and documents for Recruiting Meetings, Resume and Reel Reviews as needed;

Organize and attend recruiting events, job fairs/conventions (virtually, at the moment);

Manage our candidate databases and ensure information is accurate and up-to-date;

Assist with coordinating trips, events and job fairs;

Manage and track all active job postings;

Assist with sourcing activity for hard-to-fill roles;

Potentially learn and take on talent acquisition duties of certain departments, with supervision of the TA Manager;

Assist with special projects as needed.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

At least one years’ experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment, preferably with some experience in Visual Effects;

Proficiency with general MS Office, Google Suites, and Outlook;

Experience with ATS systems and on-line networking platforms;

Previous office administration experience, ideally within a media environment;

The ability to learn and adapt quickly;

Strong organizational skills – this position requires someone who can keep track of many moving pieces;

Effective communication skills at all levels, with the ability to build good relationships both internally and externally;

Excellent attention to detail and pride and quality of output;

Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines with the ability to multi-task;

Willingness to effectively participate as a full member of a team demonstrating a positive and enthusiastic approach;

Ability to work on your own initiative and independently.
